The American Rescue Plan Act provides $122 billion in new funds for school districts that they can spend over the next three-and-a-half school years — the largest-ever one-time federal investment in K-12 education. States and school districts across the country are deciding how those funds will be allocated and spent. On May 19th, NPLI hosted a national webinar to invite families to learn how to ensure their voices are part of the decision making process. National educational leaders shared strategies to encourage local advocacy efforts.
