We’re excited to welcome Walter Pryor to the NPLI Board of Directors.
Walter brings more than 25 years of experience across law, government relations, corporate leadership, and higher education. He currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Southern Bancorp, where he oversees administrative operations as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance functions.
Throughout his career, Walter has advised organizational leaders, worked in government and corporate settings, and served in a variety of board leadership roles. In June, he was elected Chair of the Hendrix College Board of Trustees, becoming the first person of color to lead the board in the college’s history.
As NPLI continues to grow and strengthen its work with families and communities across the country, Walter’s experience in leadership, governance, and organizational strategy will bring a valuable perspective to our Board.
We’re grateful that Walter has chosen to share his time and expertise with NPLI, and we look forward to his leadership and partnership in the years ahead.
