2019: The Secretary’s Award for Meritorious Service

The Secretary’s Award for Meritorious Service is the second highest honor award granted by the Department and is conferred by the Secretary.  The Award consists of a Medal and Certificate.  No more than ten awards are granted annually.  This Award is presented annually at the HHS Honor Awards Ceremony.  The Award recognizes HHS leaders for their achievements and for inspiring others to improve their performance.
